Snow boarding: Let’s think about this:

Wee Johnny’s wheels came off his roller skateboard - causing him to have his first idea of a snowboard.

The only thing missing - was snow - but the next best thing - was a great wet grassy slope…

Johnny‘s best friend was Willie - Willie was one year older than Johnny - but no one minded that.

Willie enjoyed watching the Winter Olympics - his ambition was to be a “big air” competitor and win a gold medal.

Willie’s dad -  made a big hill - by making a big hole - then bought a snow making machine - and made snow -  (believe it or not?) 

By aged eleven - both Johnny and Willie had broken one arm and one leg each.

By aged twenty - both Johnny and Willie had travelled the world - with their snowboard ideas - to countries who didn’t have to dig holes to make hills  - and didn’t need a snow machine to make snow ( most of the time - anyway)

So - it is - the world can enjoy snowboarding - due to wee Johnny‘s wheels coming off his roller skateboard…
