If the pope puts himself out there with his opinions and his thoughts - he has to expect some blow back.

To criticise one side, he has to criticise the other side.

So it’s okay to mention the 3800+ who get killed on a certain day, but on the other hand not mention the 30,000+ murdered on the other day.

As for the comments that the millionaires and the powerful can do what they like in the world - surely religion is some of the most powerful and richest people in the world. 

Maybe they should look in the mirror.

It never amazes me that the unelected - feel they have more say and demands then the elected.

It’s sad that months of (temporary) high fuel energy costs - override the danger of radical extremists governments / countries - holding the rest of the world to ransom and insisting on having nuclear weapons.

It’s strange that rules of war - only apply to one side of the conflict.

Funny how the United Nations can’t fix all the problems in the African countries -  with the murder, starvation and corruption - but have all the answers for the Iranian war.
