Professional Cycling: You have to love and live and to be spellbound with the sport or lifestyle of cycling - cycling around the world - travelling through many countries, towns and cities - weeks, days and hours on a plastic seat, hanging onto handles, wearing fancy coloured outfits and helmets - then that's the ultimate for you.
As for the rules and regulations: they are mind bending.
As for me - listening to the commentators explaining what’s going on and providing individual information about each cyclist - seeing the views of the towns, the rivers, the bridges, seeing people lining the streets, with signs and flags of their favourite cyclist...
