George born: 1843 in Mullaghmore County, Tyrone, Ireland. Died 1920 in Auckland Auckland. He married 25th Nov. 1874. Isabella Bassett: 1851 - 9/9/1915

Married: Isabella Bassett. In Otara, Auckland, N.Z. Isabell was born in Porta Ferry, Co. Down Ireland. Isabella and her brother Edward, both arrived in New Zealand on the sailing ship the"Indian Empire" soon after the "Romulus"

George: Occupation: Owner / operator of a Horse and carriage stables. 

George died: Pompallier Terrace, Ponsonby, Auckland. Aged 77 years.

 Cause of death: Cerebral Hemorrhage. 

OBITUARY. Auckland Star. 9 August 1920, MR. GEORGE LENDRUM. An old resident of Auckland, Mr. George Lendrum, died last week at Pompallier Terrace, Ponsonby, aged 77 years. 

Many years ago Lendrum's stables in (Queen Street were so well known to be almost a household word. 

Mr. Lendrum is survived by three sons and two daughters. one daughter and six sons.

George is buried in Purewa Cemetery. Auckland
