Glass

All glass used in frameless shower door assemblies should be approved 8mm or 10mm toughened float safety glass to NZS 4223.

Handle Types

Channel

18mm x 18mm x 1.8mm wall thickness.

All glass is siliconed into channel.

Waterseal

An aluminim section with nylon insert available as an extra.

Hinges

High quality, percision made from solid brass. The hinges incorporate a unique spring tensioning system. This allows the hinge to open both in and out, and gives the door a positive return to the closed position from approximately 30' (dependent on the door size).

Channel

The channel is screwed and silicone sealed to the wall and base to support free standing door panels. If the shower door is hinged from a glass panel and the shower enclosure requires top support for rigidity. A small toughened overlight glass panel can be siliconed to the door head as a brace.

Waterseal

The waterseal is an optional extra which is silicone glued to the bottom inside edge of the door. It has the dual purpose of shedding water away from the door and preventing splashing under it. The waterseal is an aluminium section incorporating a nylon brush insert and is available in the same finishes as the channel.
