Twin Coated Mirror
Twin coated mirror has two coats of special backing paint applied during the manufacturing process, giving substantial protection to the mirror, resulting in a high quality product.
The tin, copper and silver coatings on the mirror are sealed by two coats of paint, the base coat to protect against chemical attack and corrosion and the top coat to resist mechanical abrasion.
Mirrors come in thicknesses between 3 and6mm. There are standard stock sheet sizes, but most mirrors are cut to size as required.
