Mirror Fixing

Gluing Mirrors: Use a water based adhesive product in conjunction with double sided tape.

Adhesives: Apply in straight vertical lines (10 to12mmbead widths). Do not loop or cross the tape. The double sides tape gives instant holding power while slower curing adhesive sets.

Mounting: Holes should be drilled a minimum of50mmfor each edge. A space should be allowed between the wall and mirror for ventilation.

Framed: Mirrors can be framed on all four sides or just the top & bottom edges. There are a number of mounting systems on the market, either timber orAluminium. TheMiroxFinelineMirror Mount isaluminiumand available in a range ofcoloursincluding Gold, Silver, White, Almond, ivory and Apricot.

Mirrors should not be mounted directly onto untreated surfaces such as concrete, unpainted plaster, plywood, etc. (chemical releases by these surfaces will corrode the mirror backings).

Mirror edge sealant should be applied to the edge of any mirror in a wet area.

When screwing mirrors, a space should be left between the wall and mirror forventaltion. Holes a minimum of50mmin each way
